Scheduled Sweeps
*Scheduled Sweeps from Trading to Consumption Account are coming soon. Currently, all units are transferred to the Consumption Account as soon as the trade is filled.
How Sweeps work
To keep capacity flowing toward real usage, The Grid runs a Scheduled Sweep every 4 hours at fixed UTC times, for example 00:00, 04:00, 08:00, and so on.
At the moment of each Sweep:
The system looks at your Trading Account for each Instrument.
All Units in that Trading balance, including Units that are sitting behind open sell orders, are automatically transferred into your Consumption Account.
These transfers create one or more Lots, each with its own 4 hour time expiry.
Any Units that were not resold before the Sweep are now locked for usage.
