The Buoys are a status updates for Project S.T.E.A.M. BOAT. They necessarily do not represent milestone; however, some milestones will be Buoys. Project S.T.E.A.M. BOAT seeks transparency for communities interested in starting school and community based school STEAM projects. Our goal is to be the blueprint, and what we call "the penguin" in the gaming community. The penguins are software and apps that trail blaze with inventive ideas.
Project S.T.E.A.M BOAT is planning to teach the students through Art. Art combines various major and minor contributions to tell a story. Our Arts are representations of us. They are snapshots of our culture and technologies. They are buoys to life. As a result, we are marking the development of our culture with buoys.
Where are we now?
Project S.T.E.A.M.B.O.A.T. is Science + Technology + Engineering + Arts + Mathematics Building On Applied Techniques Program. It is a program designed to teach people STEAM with Arts and Mechanics. All theory is taught through application. All application is designed to prepare people for various STEAM industries.
This program focuses on various fields- software engineering, various soft and hard sciences, 2D and 3D art forms, mechanical technology, performing arts, and visual arts. It teaches people through fine art and moving image industries' creative processes.
Project S.T.E.A.M.B.O.A.T. is making waves by searching through the community for allies. I've had the fortunate virtual introduction with the members of the Culver City School Board, who can assist in making this Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics program a reality. I've also reached out to a few local city council members to form an alliance.
The Heart of Screenland. If only if this were still true. The world has deeply moved into the Silicon Age. While Culver City is home to shooting passive moving image entertainment, it is not the home of interactive moving image entertainment. Video games have a stronghold on the screens in this century. We have more screens from small to huge.
