An organization dedicated to fostering and preserving the friendships that developed during our ERC/GE/Swiss Re careers with a focus of sharing with others at special times and times of need.
The Founders Day event was a big success. A good percentage of the members were in attendance. Randy Nordquist, the KC Site Manager, brought everyone up to date on where Swiss Re is and where it’s headed. Following the presentation, a nice lunch social was shared by all the members.
The Annual Dinner had 78 members in attendance. Our meeting location was at the Deer Creek Country Club again this year. Everyone enjoyed a happy hour with cash bar and conversation prior to setting down to the dinner of steak and salmon.
At the Annual Dinner Jay Colmer gave his summary of our activities and events held throughout the year.
Jay announced that Mike Fitt was given a Lifetime achievement award for all that he has done for all Trailblazer members.
Toni Woolard awarded LeRoy Unruh the annual Jerry Woolard award his outstanding efforts as a Trailblazers member.
The nominating committee approved by the members included the following new board members: Chuck Haake and Chuck Cox.
Jay recognized and thanked out going board members: Louie DiMiceli and Elaine Strouse.
