I love black and white because like all photos it captures a moment in history, but it also leaves so much up to the imagination. What colours invaded the sky? How bright was the foliage? Black and white are where imagination and reality meet. 

Fingers searching for sun and water... instead finding a majestic view of Mt. Buller...

At the start of 2016 I was gifted a Canon 70D with the kit lens. So I made myself a goal of learning what I can about photography. I set out with the intention of mastering light and creating art! Here are a few photos that turned out better than the rest.
